Galaxy Furdance event rules and guidelines

Welcome to our SFW (Safe for Work) Furry Galaxy Events! We're thrilled to have you join us. To ensure that everyone has a great time and feels comfortable, we ask that all attendees adhere to the following rules and guidelines:

1. Respect and Inclusivity

• Treat everyone with kindness and respect. Harassment, discrimination, or any form of inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
• Be mindful of personal space. Consent is key, and it's important to ask before engaging in physical contact, including hugging or tail pulling.
• This event is a safe space for all, regardless of species, gender identity, or orientation. Please be supportive and inclusive.

2. Dress Code

• SFW Attire Only: The Furry Galaxy events are strictly SFW (Safe for Work). All costumes, fursuits, and dance attire must be appropriate for a general audience. Attire that is overly revealing or sexually suggestive is not permitted.

• Prohibited Clothing and Gear:

  • Kink Gear: Any form of kink or fetish gear is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • Diapers (whether for age play or other purposes)
    • Latex Clothing (including latex bodysuits or accessories)
    • Spandex or Neoprene Gear (such as bodysuits or zentai suits)
    • Pup Hoods, Muzzles, or Collars associated with pet play or kink activities
    • Harnesses or Bondage Gear of any kind
    • Chains, Leashes, or Restraints designed for fetish purposes
  • Explicit Accessories: Any accessories or props that are sexually explicit or suggestive in nature are not allowed.

• Costume Decency: We encourage creativity in costumes, but they must be modest and appropriate. Private areas must be fully covered, with no excessive exposure of skin. Undergarments should remain completely hidden. Tops, including crop tops, must always cover the navel. Skirts and shorts should be long enough to ensure that underwear is not visible from any normal angle.

• Fursuits and Cosplay:

  • Fursuits: Fursuits are welcomed and encouraged! However, they must be designed in a way that is appropriate for all audiences. Any fursuit parts or accessories that fall under the prohibited categories above should not be worn.
  • Cosplay: If you're attending in cosplay, ensure that your character's attire adheres to the SFW guidelines. Avoid costumes that are overly sexualized or include inappropriate gear.

• Face Coverings: Masks and face coverings are permitted as part of costumes. Full-face coverings like pup hoods, inflatable masks or general masks associated with kink activities are not allowed.

• Uncertain About Your Outfit? If you're unsure whether your costume or attire is appropriate, feel free to reach out to event staff before the event. We're happy to help you ensure that your outfit meets the event's guidelines.

3. Photography and Videography

• Photography and videography are permitted, but please respect others' privacy. Always ask for permission before taking someone's photo or recording a video.
• Flash photography can be disruptive, so use it sparingly and with consideration.
• The event and location/venue reserves the rights to take pictures and videos during the events and are allowed to use them to promote next events.

4. Behavior on the Dance Floor

• Keep the dance floor safe and enjoyable for everyone.
• If the dance floor becomes crowded, be mindful of others and make space as needed.
• If you need a break, please step off the dance floor to allow others to enjoy the space.

5. Substance Policy

• This is a drug-free event. Anyone found in possession of or under the influence of drugs will be asked to leave immediately and will be banned from future events.
• Smoking and vaping are only permitted outside at the entrance of the building. We kindly request that noise levels be reduced after 22:00

6. Attendance, Admission and Refund Policy

• In case you've registered for an event, but you're not able to come anymore, please let us know beforehand via mail or on Telegram. (and preferably as soon as possible)
  As our events are not aimed to accommodate a big number of attendees, we would like to give everyone a chance and not have any tickets go to waste.
  Failing to attend multiple times without good reason and without letting us know beforehand, can result into us declining your future registrations for the events, as it takes away opportunities for other people.
• Bought a sponsorpackages or additional items should be collected at the event or at our main office in the area of Kortrijk within 3 months after the event. Failing to collect the sponsorpackages or additional items within the deadline, gives us the right to claim the items to support the non-profit organisation. Please be sure to reach out to us in time. You will receive a reminder mail regarding the pickup one month before the final deadline. 
• We reserve the right to decline entry to anyone without providing a reason. This is to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all attendees.
• All ticket sales are final. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds under any circumstances.

7. Lost and Found

• If you lose something, ask a staff member if any items have been found.
• Any items that are left behind after the event will be held for a limited time. We will make an announcement on social media.

8. Have Fun!

• Most importantly, have fun and enjoy the dance! This event is all about community, creativity, and celebrating our shared love of furry culture.

By attending the Furry Galaxy events, you agree to follow these rules and guidelines. Failure to adhere to these rules may result in removal from the event without a refund. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in making this a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience for everyone.
